Stick & Grind Privacy Policy

Stick & Grind is a hockey training diary designed to work without an account or an internet connection. This policy explains what information the app stores and when information can leave your device.

What the app stores

Stick & Grind stores the player profile, preferences, diary entries, game statistics, workout records, custom activities, seasons, templates, and skate-sharpening information on your device using Apple’s local storage. This information is not sent to us.

What can leave your device

Information leaves the app only when you choose an action that uses an Apple system feature or opens an external page:

• Backup export: When you export a backup, Stick & Grind creates an unencrypted .stickandgrind file containing the diary and player name. You choose where to save it through Apple’s file exporter, including iCloud Drive if you select it.
• Share cards: When you share an accomplishment card, Stick & Grind gives Apple’s share sheet a rendered image and short text. Cards omit player identity by default. If you turn on Include player identity under Settings › Data & Privacy, the image and text can include the player’s name, team, and number. The service or person you select receives the shared content.
• YouTube drill demonstrations: If you open a YouTube demonstration, the page opens in an in-app Safari view. Apple, Google, and YouTube may receive information normally sent by a web browser and process it under their own privacy policies. Stick & Grind does not receive that browsing data.
• Local notifications: If you allow notifications, Stick & Grind schedules local rest-timer alerts on the device. These alerts are not sent through a Stick & Grind server.

No accounts, analytics, or tracking

Stick & Grind has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, third-party software development kits, or app-operated servers. We do not collect personal data or use data to track you across apps or websites.

Children

Stick & Grind is not directed at children under 13. The app does not collect data from users regardless of age. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s backup, sharing, and external-link choices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app’s privacy practices change. The effective date at the top will show when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be reflected in the app or its App Store listing as appropriate.
